AODD Pump + Bag/Disc Filter Assembly for UV Paint circulation

Case 2022-06-14

This mobile integrated unit consists of a DN50 (2-inch) aluminum air-operated diaphragm pump matched with a 304 stainless steel bag filter, specially developed for high-flow transfer and filtration in mass ink production workshops. It fits high-viscosity pigment media such as offset, gravure and UV inks, and supports material discharging from large horizontal sand mills, tank transferring and finished product filling.

The 2″ large-flow aluminum pump features hard anodized aluminum housing, PTFE diaphragms and ceramic ball valves, delivering a max flow rate of 260 L/min at 0.6 MPa air pressure, doubling efficiency versus 1″ pumps. Fully air-driven without electric sparks, it complies with explosion-proof workshop standards. The air pressure regulator controls outlet pressure to protect filter bags and cut consumable loss drastically. With 5m strong self-priming capability, it allows dry running and blocked discharge; low-shear conveying prevents ink flocculation and delamination to guarantee printing quality.

Mounted on a stainless steel trolley with casters, the unit can be freely moved between sand grinding, dispersing and filling stations. Short straight pipelines between pump and filter eliminate dead zones to reduce pigment sediment clogging. The quick-open lifting-ring filter enables easy bag replacement, while stainless steel corrugated hoses with clamp connections simplify color change and cleaning to save materials and labor.

Compared with traditional centrifugal pumps and separate small pumps, the unit cuts filtration time of 500L ink from 90 mins to 30 mins, reduces impurity reject rate by 95% and maintenance frequency by 90%. One unit replaces multiple fixed pumps to save floor space and procurement costs, making it the optimal integrated transfer & filtration equipment for ink mass production.
